Information for parents & teens

Breath of Bloom Psychology offers online psychological consultation for adolescents aged 15–17 years in a safe, respectful, and confidential environment, with appropriate parental consent.

How sessions work

  • Sessions are 60 minutes long and conducted online.
  • The adolescent is encouraged to attend from a private, quiet space.
  • Sessions focus on emotional wellbeing, coping skills, stress, and healthy development.
  • Participation is voluntary and collaborative — the young person is always respected.

Confidentiality

The adolescent's privacy is respected throughout. However, confidentiality may be limited in cases involving safety concerns, risk of harm to self or others, abuse, or legal obligations.

In such situations, appropriate steps may be taken, including involving a parent or guardian.

Parental consent requirement

For clients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide written informed consent before sessions begin.

The parental consent form will be shared separately and must be completed and submitted prior to the first consultation.

Emergency & crisis situations

Breath of Bloom Psychology does not provide crisis intervention services. If an adolescent is experiencing a mental health emergency or is at risk of harm, please contact local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
